Duke Hospital campus expanding
Regulators gave conditional approval for Duke University Hospital’s proposed expansion. According to the Duke University officials, the addition would add over 500,000 square feet and could create nearly 1,000 new jobs. Costs of the expansion are estimated at $596 million.
The hospital plans to break ground by fall 2008.

Raleigh area home sales decline, prices flat
Triangle MLS figures for the Triangle show 2,217 homes were sold in March, a 28% drop from March, 2007 figures. The average home price was slightly higher at $235,175 where last year the average selling price was $233,763.
According to Triangle MLS reports, listed homes reached over 19,033.
