North Raleigh Home Sales Report
The peak years for $300k-600k priced homes in area 2 were actually 2007 and 2008 when there were 437 and 435 respectively. In 2005 and 2006 there were 337 and 340. This tells me that area 2 peaked in 2007 and 2008.
